The Rt. Rev. Peter Lee celebrates Eucharist with us, followed by dinner and conversation to help develop a broader understanding of the resolution and liturgy for the blessing of same-sex relationships.

At our annual retreat this year, the Vestry agreed to familiarize ourselves with the current position of the Episcopal Church and our diocese on the blessing of covenanted unions. It is an honor to welcome Bishop Peter Lee, on May 21, who will help guide a discussion on this ministry at dinner, as well as celebrate Eucharist with us at 5:15 p.m. The Vestry believes that the timing is right to collectively and prayerfully begin dialogue and discernment, and we hope to have a good turnout to welcome Bishop Lee and participate in this important discussion.
