We will begin our Bicentennial year with a brief presentation at coffee hour in the Kyle House on Sunday, January 22. The presentation will commemorate the fact that Episcopal services were held in the Academy, which stood on the site of the Kyle house, in January 1817. These services were the beginning of our worshiping community which would be officially founded on April 9 of that year.
