On Wednesday, August 22nd, Emily Gowdy Canady, The Diocese of East Carolina Program Officer for Youth, Campus and Young Adult Ministries, will be visiting St. John’s as a guest speaker at our 6:00 Wednesday evening dinner program. This program is not just for our youth, youth parents and youth leaders, but for everyone, as we are ALL stakeholders in our youth. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn and brainstorm ideas for engaging our youth for the upcoming church year, as well as an opportunity to meet Emily. Emily comes with a wealth of experience and ideas for not just the EYC (grades 6-12), but for our younger youth (Children’s Christian Formation) as well.
