For 19 years, Operation Inasmuch blitz Day has been a day of service in the Fayetteville community. This year, however, Blitz Day extends beyond the borders of Fayetteville to help stop hunger worldwide. Operation Inasmuch is organizing a citywide meal-packing event for Stop Hunger Now, a North Carolina-based non-profit that provides food in disaster situations and to international development programs such as schools, medical clinics, and nurseries.
St. John's is assembling a team of 16 to prepare 4,000 meals. The meal-packing will be staged at First Baptist Church, 201 Anderson St. We are also accepting donations to help us meet our $1000 commitment. For more information on how you can volunteer, contact Judy Klinck (email).
